What is Tempeh?
Tempeh is a plant-based proteins made from cooked and slightly fermented soybeans. This fermentation helps to break down the phytic acid in soybeans, making the starches in tempeh easier to digest. After fermentation, the soybeans are formed into a patty similar to a very firm veggie burger or a block. It has a firm texture that can easily be sliced or even crumbled.
It is a very important full protein dietary source, equivalent to meat, milk and eggs, and thus is a vital choice in vegetarian and vegan diets, as well as being a useful alternative in a varied meat-based diet.
Why should we eat Tempeh?
Tempeh is highly nutritive and contains health promoting phytochemicals like isoflavones and saponins. The fermentation process actually produces natural antibiotic agents while leaving the desirable soy isoflavones as well as the saponins intact. Tempeh is rich in high quality protein, containing all essential amino acids. In comparison to tofu that is made from a soybean extract, tempeh keeps all the fiber of the original soybean. It’s a healthy dish even for our planet as consumers often replace meat with tempeh, thus reducing the need for land. Greenhouse gas emissions emitted from animal-based food is 250 times higher than that of legumes.
How to eat Tempeh?
On it’s own and uncooked, tempeh has a very mild taste and is almost flavorless.. Like tofu, tempeh is rarely eaten by itself but is incorporated into other dishes and readily absorbs those flavours to mollify and disguise its own. However, it does a great job soaking up marinades and flavors and if cooked well, tastes AMAZING!
Tempeh is incredibly versatile, it can be layering into sandwiches, crumbling it up to mimic ground meat, tossing into stir fries, and searing it like a steak.

It is very convenient to me as the oat mix preparation is quick and easy. By adding cold milk to the desired amount of oat mix, my breakfast is ready to be enjoyed. It also tastes good and fragrance at the same time.
Italian 4in1 - all 4 herbs I use a lot, it's so convenient to have all of them in 1 bottle.
American 4in1 - my first time trying the lemon pepper, and it's good! I like the garlic salt can be used as table salt.
British 4in1 - This is more like a table condiment.
All of the containers are so cute and so convenient to use.
Fitplus is nutritious and satiety. It can be prepared as breakfast or quick dinner and even as a healthy snack which is very convenient for girls like me who are willing to keep fit.

The fragrant is good and it tastes even better with hot milk as a breakfast!
Moreover, it keeps me full for as long as 5 hours after consumption.
Coco Jelly as a snack gives a refreshing treat for me.
The sweetness level is balanced and gives freshness of coconut taste.
The jelly is smooth, slight bounciness and right balance of moisture content.
It is not so sweet and we can actually taste the flavour of fresh coconut water although already mixed with orange juice.
I am sensitive to the fish collagen taste, but Coco Jelly doesn't have the taste, so it's acceptable. It has a more fruity taste.
So when we mix the coco jelly in the cocktail, it has a coconut fragrance smell which is quite refreshing. In terms of texture, it's slimy and smooth but less bouncy.

Hexa Fitplus, I really like the taste and the texture because there are berries inside, it's a good choice for my breakfast.
I think Hexa Rempah Kebab is convenient because we don't have to add so much seasoning powder ourselves. Like just one bottle is enough and it tastes really authentic, suitable for people who rarely cook or working class who wants a quick and easy meal.
Tepung dia memang sedap. Tak kisah laa guna method tepung-telur-tepung atau bancuh tepung, celup ayam then salut tepung kering atau terus salut tepung kering atau bancuh tepung mcm bater, celup ayam then terus goreng. Mana mana method pun, ayam tetap garing diluar juicy didalam. Dan rasa tepung tu sedikit masin tapi sedap.
Salted egg HEXA ni best. Sedap buat sotong masak salted egg!
